Oromia Media Complex Building Project

The Oromia Media Complex 2B+G+11 Building Project is one Block that is architecturally inspired by Sof-Oumer Cave; the cave which is located in the Bale Zone of Oromia Regional State. The building’s total floor area is around 36,000m². The Office and Media Complex together are 2B+G+11. This building, upon its completion, will become the most advanced international Media Complex with the latest art of media technology within the Country. The building has 9 TV studios, 7 radio broadcast studios, 11 recording rooms, master control, media data, up-download, transmission, front end room with other supporting functions, which serve the End User; that is, Oromia Broadcasting Network (OBN). The building consists of a Media Complex which is under construction based on the contract type of semi-design and build agreement as per the Employers requirements of the Oromia Regional Government by accepted construction contract amount of 5,000,000,000.00 (Five Billion) Ethiopian Birr including 15% VAT.
